In September 2017 I undertook the challenge of kayaking solo the route of the Scottish Islands Peaks Race and climbing the mountains too. I set myself the target of achieving this in a week. I was raising money for the Tobermory RNLI Lifeboat and managed to achieve my fundraising target of £2000.00. It was a tough challenge because of the heavy weather I faced as well as covering long distances in the kayak and climbing the mountains too.
