Welcome to my LifeAfloat website.
I am a man in his fifties who is a yacht live-aboard and sailor, a proponent of minimal living, a sea kayaking expeditionary, an adventurer, a photographer, a writer, an aspirant video maker, a workshop facilitator, an RNLI volunteer, an inspirational public speaker, and a depression survivor.
I hope you enjoy exploring the many pages of this site and if you have any queries whatsoever, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for taking the time to visit and my warmest wishes to you.

Public speaking and presentations for charity events, conferences and dinners. A wide range of subjects appropriate to the event and the audience.
Details of my adventures in my kayak around the rugged Scottish coastline.
Slowly writing a book about my 1850 mile solo sea kayak journey around Scotland in 2015. Writing articles for adventure, nature and local interest publications. Maintaining a regular online 'blog'.
